中国古茗文化之清朝名茶瓜片China famous tea of​​ Qing Dynasty: Melon Slices

瓜片来自中国安徽六安县，在清代人所著的《随园食单》中已有记载。瓜片还有一个故事。清朝灭亡后，袁世凯统治了中国，进入了中国民国时期。袁世凯喜欢喝茶，世人皆知。安徽六安县有个商人，想讨好总统袁世凯，就让人摘取每棵茶树春芽上的一、两片嫩叶，制成茶叶，送给袁世凯。袁世凯十分喜欢，从此成为了中国名茶，由于形状像瓜子片一样，所以叫“瓜片”。

There is a businessman in Lu’an County, Anhui Province, who wanted to please President Yuan Shikai.So he made people pick one or two young leaves on the spring bud of each tea tree to make tea leaves and give them to Yuan Shikai. Yuan Shikai likEs it very much.And it became the famous Chinese tea. Because it is shaped like sliced melon pieces, it is called Melon Slice.
