中国素馔文化之《西游记》素食素烧烤麸Green Baked Bran in Journey to the West of Chinese Ancient Delicacy Culture
《西游记》讲述的是中国唐朝时一个神话故事,根据真人真事改编而成。在中国唐朝时有一位僧人叫唐僧,去西天取经普渡众生的故事。去西天的路途上十分凶险,一路上有很多妖魔鬼怪,于是唐僧收了四比特徒弟,保护他西行。四比特徒弟分别是孙悟空(猴子)、猪八戒(猪头)和沙僧(挑行李),还有一匹由龙变成的白龙马。师徒四人一起西行,斩妖除魔,经过了千辛万苦,终于取到了真经,带回了唐朝,普渡了众生。 他们一路西行,主要的食物是素食(僧人只能吃素)。他们最爱吃的一道菜叫“素烧烤麸”。烤麸就是由“面筋”做成,再配上木耳、黄花菜与调料炒制而成。口感柔韧,有嚼劲,风味独特。
Journey to the West tells a story of a Chinese fairy tale of Tang dynasty based on a true story that, a pit monk, Tang Monk, going to the West to seek scriptures for saving all human beings in Tang dynasty. It is so dangerous for him meeting many demons in the journey that he receives four apprentices to protect himself including Sun Wukong(monkey), Zhu Bajie(Pig), Sha Seng(carrying luggage) and a white dragon horse that had been turned into a dragon. Tang Monk and his four disciples go to the West together with exorcising the demons. After innumerable hardships, they finally got the scriptures and brought them back to the Tang Dynasty for universal salvation.
During the journey to the West, they mainly eat vegetables (monks can only eat vegetables). Among foods, the best in their eyes is Green Baked Bran, which is made of gluten Sauteed with fungus, daylilies and spices, supple and chewy with a distinctive flavour.
