孟婆汤是中国古代一位叫“孟婆”的神话人物所製作的汤,这碗汤是“神汤”,传说喝下它之后能忘记前世的一切烦恼与情感。
孟婆汤在中国有一个古老的传说。传说人死之后,都要到阴间(指地府,魔鬼世界)报导,要经过一座”奈何桥”,孟婆就守在这个桥上做孟婆汤,每一个来到奈何桥的人都要喝下这碗孟婆汤。喝下孟婆汤后,会忘掉前世的一切,好安心投胎转世,重新做人。

Meng Po Soup is a soup made by a mythical figure named "Meng Po" in ancient China. This bowl of soup is "God Soup", and it is said that after drinking it, you can forget all the worries and emotions of the previous life. Meng Po Soup has an ancient legend in China. It is said that after death, people have to go to Hades (referring to Difu, Devil’s World) to report that they have to pass through a "Naihe Bridge", and Meng Po will stay on this bridge to make Meng Po Soup. Everyone who comes to Naihe Bridge must drink this bowl of Meng Po Soup. After drinking Meng Po Soup, one will forget everything in previous life, so one can be prepared to be reincarnated in a new body as a new person.
