《金瓶梅》是中国古代著名小说，讲述的是中国北宋年间的男女情爱故事。故事中的人物形象生动，美人多，美食也多。里面有一位美人叫宋蕙莲，她有一道菜做得十分美味，红烧猪头。宋蕙莲红烧猪头是用油、酱料、香料与猪头制作，烧制2个多小时，一个柔软、香糯、五味俱全的红烧猪头就做好了，可以冷却后，切片摆盘，再配以蘸料（姜蒜）拌着吃，佐酒，十分美味。《金 瓶 梅》宋蕙莲人物，她是西门庆（一位富豪）府（家）一位仆人的妻子，在府上负责做饭，是一位美人。西门庆喜欢上了她，就叫一个丫环去说合（做情人），宋蕙莲答应了与西门庆幽会（约会）。最后，西门庆陷害了她的丈夫，她也自杀而亡。她的红烧猪头也成了一道传奇的佳肴，传承千年。

Xi Menqing liked her, so he calls a servant girl to persuade Song Huilian to be a lover, and Song Huilian agrees to data with Ximen Qing. In the end, Xi Menqing frames her husband, which results in her commit suicide, making her Braised Pig’s Head a legendary delicacy for thousands of years.
